Missy McMurray, Owner and Founder
Missy is a STOTT PILATES Level 2 Instructor certified in Essential, Intermediate and Advanced Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels. She is educated in Injuries and Special Populations, with years of experience training clients who have had joint replacements, have spinal conditions, and neurological conditions such as Parkinsons, as well as training athletes with an eye to improving their golf and tennis games and compete in Ironmans. She is also TRX qualified. Missy started doing Pilates after years of knee and back injuries, looking for the perfect complement to running, walking and tennis. She found a healthier future with Pilates and exemplifies her motto:
“Move for Life.”
Emily enjoys exploring the world of health and fitness and feels that Pilates has transformed her training for marathons, triathlons as well as her everyday movement. Along with being STOTT PILATES trained, she is a teacher in her hometown of DeLand, having received her Bachelor’s and Masters degree in Exceptional Student Education.
Since earning a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Stetson, Chrissy has worked with children and families in the child welfare system in Florida. As a Pilates student she was enlightened to the benefits of the mind body connection for complete wellbeing and was inspired to pursue her STOTT PILATES certification. You’ll find her in the studio every Wednesday evening and on Saturday mornings.
DeLand native, Emylee, is a CrossFit Level 1 certified and STOTT PILATES trained instructor. She played collegiate volleyball while studying Marketing and Sports Management. Her love of athletics and helping people move efficiently is evident in her teaching style.
“The most important shot in golf is the next one” is Kayla Lawrence’s favorite saying and one she repeats to herself daily as a professional golfer playing mini tours and the Symetra tour. A Division 1 golfer at University of Tulsa where she studied Psychology, she went on to earn an MBA from University of Texas at El Paso where she coached the Women’s Golf team. She fell in love with Pilates when she saw the benefits it brought to her game and is on her way to earning her full STOTT PILATES Instructor certification.
Proud mom to her Chocolate Lab Juke, Kaitlyn fell in love with Pilates after feeling the benefits to her body and mind. A graduate of University of South Carolina, she works with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder providing therapeutic services to increase their independence and quality of life. She exudes positivity as an advocate for health and wellness.
